\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En effet, lors d\u2019une r\u00e9union de la commission Patrimoine Culture Tourisme de la CC POA, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 imagin\u00e9 de proposer aux touristes, visiteurs mais \u00e9galement Landais en qu\u00eate de randonn\u00e9e, de pouvoir aller d\u2019une abbaye \u00e0 l\u2019autre \u00e0 pied, \u00e0 v\u00e9lo et m\u00eame \u00e0 cheval. Cette randonn\u00e9e, longue d\u2019environ 11,5 km, environ 3 heures de route, a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue une premi\u00e8re fois au printemps puis propos\u00e9e au Conseil.<br>Elle permet de traverser par une petite route tranquille les champs de ma\u00efs et plantations de kiwis en contrebas d\u2019Arthous avant de traverser l\u2019axe Peyrehorade-Bidache et d\u2019atteindre le village de Oeyregave. Sur la place, tr\u00f4ne une sculpture en acier de pr\u00e8s de 5 m\u00e8tres de haut du sculpteur Olivier Escarmant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e8s la fin du village, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire se poursuit sur des chemins bien trac\u00e9s et sur la passerelle qui permet d\u2019atteindre le lac de Oeyregave. Nous sommes l\u00e0, \u00e9galement sur le chemin de St Jacques de Compostelle qui relie la voie littorale et la voie de Tours qui vient de Sorde. Le chemin se faufile au pied des fermes sordaises puis traverse la route Peyrehorade-Oloron avant de plonger vers l\u2019Arrib\u00e8re, vaste plaine de Sorde o\u00f9 les kiwis poussent avec plaisir, dans une bonne terre et une atmosph\u00e8re temp\u00e9r\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9sence du gave. Une large piste permet de rejoindre la route sur quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres et celle-ci traverse le gave d\u2019Oloron au vert \u00e9meraude. Le chemin longe ensuite le camping puis le chemin de l\u2019Espitau (ancien h\u00f4pital de p\u00e8lerins au Moyen Age) et passant derri\u00e8re les remparts par le lavoir, atteint le c\u0153ur du village o\u00f9 se trouve l\u2019ensemble patrimonial form\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9glise, le monast\u00e8re et la maison des abb\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout le petit groupe s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9 au fronton o\u00f9 se d\u00e9roulait la f\u00eate de la pelote, pour se d\u00e9salt\u00e9rer.<br>Direction ensuite la base cano\u00eb o\u00f9 une autre forme d\u2019itin\u00e9rance attendait un petit groupe de cinq courageux qui ont fait en cano\u00eb le circuit de la Petite Amazonie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tr\u00e8s belle journ\u00e9e, sous le soleil, qui a montr\u00e9 qu\u2019en Pays d\u2019Orthe, il est possible de se d\u00e9placer sans moteur !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fran\u00e7oise deux abbayes d\u2019Arthous et de Sorde l\u2019Abbaye. En effet, lors d\u2019une r\u00e9union de la commission Patrimoine Culture Tourisme de la CC POA, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 imagin\u00e9 de proposer aux touristes, visiteurs mais \u00e9galement Landais en qu\u00eate de randonn\u00e9e, de pouvoir aller d\u2019une abbaye \u00e0 l\u2019autre \u00e0 pied, \u00e0 v\u00e9lo et m\u00eame \u00e0 cheval.
